Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking an experienced Materials AOG Coordinator to source and coordinate critical parts to minimize aircraft ground time in Plano, TX. You will manage purchases, loans, and transfers, expediting orders and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

In this role you will lead a team during shifts, liaise with MOC and other departments, and drive cost-saving and process-improvement initiatives while upholding Breeze’s safety culture and values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in airline/aviation materials handling or procurement.
• 2+ years of purchasing experience and/or inventory planning and logistics
• General understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR part 121 operations
• Must pass a ten-year background check and obtain an airport security badge
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record
• Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Responsibilities

• Procure and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet AOG requirements to avoid delays or cancellations.
• Oversee all material requirements during AOG situations.
• Coordinate MEL, CDL, and NEF materials with MOC to ensure parts are available.
• Follow up to ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinate and expedite transfer of parts and expediting purchase orders.
• Coordinate the acquisition of loaner parts from other airlines and create borrow and rental orders.
• Review billing for accuracy and track loaned/borrowed parts.
• Ensure borrowed parts are returned and minimize borrowing events and cost.
• Supervise movement of parts via domestic and international transportation networks.
• Serve as liaison between Maintenance Operations Control, Planning, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Repair/Warranty.
• Participate in daily Operations meetings and provide status of open requisitions and purchase orders.
• Review requisitions for content, accuracy, interchangeability, and urgency.
• Monitor stock levels to determine necessity of requests.
