Job summary

Bombardier in Wichita, KS is seeking an Avionics Technician (AOG) to inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft systems. You will work with production and service teams to ensure on-time, safe operations, adhering to IPM and FAA/JAA regulations.

The role requires training in avionics/electrical systems and relevant licenses or certifications; you will perform installations, engine work, and coordination with technical representatives, with opportunities to grow within Learjet Inc.

Qualifications

• Avionics/Electrical aircraft Technical school or equivalent.
• FCC/GROL License or equivalent.
• NCATT/AET Certification or equivalent.
• A&P Certification or military qualifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, adjust, repair and replace aircraft components and malfunctions with or without power.
• Perform maintenance on customer aircraft per applicable technical data and FAA/JAA regulations.
• Document work performed per Inspections Procedures Manual (IPM).
• Coordinate with technical representatives, lab and other personnel to resolve system or component problems.
• Assist with engine removal and installation and complex repairs at on-site or off-site locations.
