Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking an Avionics Technician for its Wichita Service Completion Center. The role involves repairing and servicing aircraft avionics and electronic equipment. Successful candidates will possess relevant educational background such as avionics technical school, FCC/GROL License, or FAA A&P License.

Qualifications

• Repair, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
• Perform aircraft inspections with appropriate oversight.

• Adhere to general work requirements
• Repair, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment with limited supervision
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5‑S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools Read and understand electrical engineering drawings
• Perform aircraft inspections with appropriate oversight
• Basic PC skills
