Job summary

Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking an Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) A&P Technician for our external client. You will perform maintenance, inspection and repair of aircraft, coordinate with teams, and document all actions in accordance with GMM and FARs.

The role requires a flexible schedule, rapid response capability and travel—domestically and internationally—while maintaining safety and quality standards. A&P certification and DOT background check are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current US Airframe and Powerplant mechanics certificate (FAR Part 65.83).
• Three years proven experience in a similar position.
• Experience with FAR Part 145 maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming maintenance calls when on duty or on call.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft in accordance with manufacturers manuals and FARs.
• Coordinate and document actions with managers and leads.
• Complete work orders and account for parts and billable time.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
