Our client, a premier international AmLaw 50 firm with a globally recognized Antitrust & Competition Practice , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside leading antitrust practitioners on some of the most significant merger reviews, government investigations, antitrust litigation matters, and compliance counseling engagements in the marketplace.
The successful candidate will advise sophisticated multinational clients at the intersection of business, government, and regulation while gaining exposure to cutting-edge competition issues across a wide range of industries.
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC , in good standing
3-4 years of post-JD experience (excluding judicial clerkships) in antitrust and competition law
Experience handlingantitrust litigation matters, merger review matters, and regulatory investigations
Experiencerepresenting clients before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DOJ), and state attorneys general preferred
Knowledge of merger clearance processes, cartel investigations, and government enforcement actions
Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional writing, advocacy, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters simultaneously
Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Experience working directly with clients and government agencies preferred
