Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering specially designed instruction in multiple content areas.
  • Supervising special education technicians delivering instruction in multiple content areas.
  • Supporting students with behavioral needs in various settings within the district and community.
  • Collecting and utilizing data to inform interventions and instruction.
  • Completing special education documentation accurately and promptly.
Candidate Qualities

A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a willingness to seek nontraditional solutions, the ability to build positive relationships with students, and collaborate effectively with parents, educators, service providers, and administrators.

Qualifications

Applicants must have the appropriate education, background, experience, CHRC, and be eligible for Maine Department of Education certification (#282b endorsement).
