Job summary

South Brunswick Public Schools is seeking a Replacement Behavior Specialist / BCBA to oversee ABA-based programs for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs. The role involves conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, consulting with staff, and supervising Behavior Technicians/RBTs.

The ideal candidate will hold a NJ DOE certificate as BCBA or related credential, with school experience preferred, and will join a district offering a competitive salary and full benefits.

Responsibilities

Behavior Specialists / BCBA monitor and support programs for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral difficulties by ensuring ABA principles and best practices are implemented. Support special education and general education students with significant behavioral needs through functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), consultation, and related trainings. Collaborate with other Behavior Specialists and oversee Behavior Technicians/RBTs, providing supervision.

Experience

  • BCBA preferred
Qualifications

New Jersey DOE Certificate: School Psychologist, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, or BCBA Certificate.
