Behavior Specialists / BCBA monitor and support programs for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral difficulties by ensuring ABA principles and best practices are implemented. Support special education and general education students with significant behavioral needs through functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), consultation, and related trainings. Collaborate with other Behavior Specialists and oversee Behavior Technicians/RBTs, providing supervision.
New Jersey DOE Certificate: School Psychologist, Teacher of Students with Disabilities, or BCBA Certificate.
