Job summary

Dover Public Schools seeks an Anticipated Long Term Paraprofessional Substitute for the 2026-2027 school year in the Dover area.

The position is 5.5 hours daily with instruction support for students, classroom management assistance, and requires two years of college or an associate degree; ParaPro or equivalent knowledge is preferred.

Salary Range:

$125 per day

Responsibilities:

• Providing individual or small-group instructional support for students
• Assisting with classroom management

Qualifications:

• Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning; or
• An associate's (or higher) degree; or
• Meeting a rigorous standard of quality that demonstrates, through a formal assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness (passing of the ETS ParaPro Assessment).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
