RANGE OF PAY: HEA Salary Schedule. Based on education and experience

SUMMARY: Teaches students academic, social, and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The successful applicant will implement an approved curriculum while utilizing various instructional strategies to meet student needs in the classroom in a stimulating and engaging learning experience. Collect and analyze data to then be used to make instructional decisions. Implement effective classroom management strategies in accordance with district policies. Collaborate with various staff members to ensure student needs are being met. Effectively communicate with parents on a regular basis. Create and contribute to a positive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate Kindergarten endorsement required. Must have ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration. Applicant will be able to collaborate successfully with staff and colleagues to develop new and improve practices.
