Job summary

Northfield Public Schools is seeking full-time Early Ventures Teachers for positions starting on 08/27/2026 at the Northfield Community Education Center. Candidates will supervise infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children while creating meaningful, age-appropriate activities. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in licensed child care centers.

The pay rate is competitive, ranging from $21.25 to $24.81 per hour, with benefits for those working over 20 hours a week.

Overview

Anticipated Early Ventures Teacher Positions (Job ID: 4758) – Full‑time positions beginning 08/27/2026 at the Northfield Community Education Center.

Schedule & Hours

Up to 40 hrs/week for the school year; summer and non‑school days are TBD based on enrollment. Hours vary between 6:30am and 6:00pm.

Qualifications

Preferred applicants must meet DHS guidelines for teacher status. Preferred applicants will also have experience working in a licensed child care center or preschool classroom.

Pay & Benefits

Pay rate: $21.25/hr – $24.81/hr.

Employees scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for district insurance benefits.
