Oregon State University – Cascades invites applications for fixed-term, non-tenure-track Instructor positions in Anthropology to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2025-2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026, located in Bend, Oregon.

Primary duties include teaching courses, administering assessments, and advising students; appointments may be renewed or transitioned to instructional positions at the Dean's discretion. This role supports the Social Sciences program and undergraduate education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology or related field is required.
• PhD or terminal degree preferred.
• Teaching experience at the college or university level is desirable.

Responsibilities

• 95%: Teaching courses in Anthropology each term; administer assessments and improve teaching effectiveness.
• 5%: Advise and mentor students; maintain records and participate in administrative tasks.
