Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Antepartum - Day Shift at Evanston Hospital, Evanston IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) requires working 07:00-19:30 with weekend rotation and potential float to the postpartum unit.

The RN will deliver safe, compassionate care, plan and evaluate patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. A $25,000 sign-on bonus applies with 18 months Antepartum experience.

Qualifications

• Experience nursing in antepartum settings.
• Ability to follow plans of care and coordinate with a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises diagnoses and interventions as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient and family.
• Communicates the plan of care to patient and family, respecting preferences.
• Documents patient health data and communications.
• Provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs and culture.
• Supports wound/ostomy/skin care where applicable and participates in rounds.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and assists in transporting acutely ill patients.
