Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Antepartum/Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The role emphasizes cross-training across obstetric units to support complex pregnancies and rapid interventions.

The position requires RN licensure, NRP/ACLS within specified timelines, and a minimum of two years in Antepartum and L&D, with BLS on hire. This is a full-time night shift opportunity with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• NRP must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date (RN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration.
• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BLS on hire.
• Minimum two (2) years Antepartum and L&D experience; high risk OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• Care for obstetric patients across Antepartum, Labor & Delivery and related units.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment requiring quick, precise decisions.
• Antepartum and L&D RNs receive cross-training to support obstetric patients.
