Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) SEAL is seeking a Student Assistant/Research Assistant to support modeling, simulation, circuit design and testing. You will gain hands-on experience in electromagnetics, RF/microwave engineering, antenna design, and AI/ML for modeling and simulation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university.
• 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Assist with RF measurements
• Program test equipment to automate measurements
• Produce MATLAB or Python AI and machine learning code for electromagnetic modeling and simulation
• Perform electromagnetic simulations using Ansys HFSS
• Assist with RF/microwave circuit design and modeling
• Document and present research results
