Job summary

Amazon LEO seeks an Antenna Engineer to design, integrate, and characterize antennas and arrays for high-volume deployment. You will work across EM design tools, RF analysis, and lab validation, moving concepts from design to deployment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical engineering with RF/electromagnetics coursework; a Master's is preferred along with 1–2 years of related internship or experience. Equal opportunity employer; US export control rules apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Coursework in RF and electromagnetics.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize antenna and array architectures (element selection, lattice, feeding networks, beam-forming strategies) to meet RF system goals.
• Use EM and RF design tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, AWR, or similar) to simulate element/array performance, mutual coupling, scan loss, and pattern characteristics.
• Support prototype builds, bring-up, and test campaigns for active antennas, including chamber testing and over-the-air validation.
• Provide DFM and DFT feedback for antenna boards, modules, and test fixtures.
• Write design reports, test summaries, and present results to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and deploy code to support testing, simulation, and validation of antenna systems.
