Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking an Antenna Systems Engineer to drive antenna and RF front-end design for space and ground segments. You will own RF performance from ADC/DAC through the antenna, using HFSS/CST/AWR to validate designs and collaborating with RFIC, PA/LNA, and calibration teams.

This role combines EM design, RF system analysis, and hands-on lab validation. You will work across design, test, and deployment phases, contributing to high-volume antenna development

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in antenna design.
• Experience with Matlab, Python or C++.
• Experience with CST, HFSS, or similar antenna-simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize antenna and array architectures to meet RF system goals.
• Own end-to-end RF performance from ADC/DAC through RF front-end to antenna radiation.
• Use EM/RF design tools to simulate element/array performance and pattern characteristics.
• Collaborate with calibration, software, DSP, ASIC, and validation teams on system strategies and testing.
• Define and maintain antenna specifications at module, aperture, and system levels.
• Support prototype builds, bring-up, and chamber/OTA validation campaigns.
• Provide DFM/DFT feedback for antenna boards, modules, and fixtures.
• Write design reports and present results to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop and deploy code to support testing, simulation, and validation of antenna systems.
