Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA is seeking an Antenna Engineer – Parabolic & Waveguide to own the design, optimization, and testing of high-frequency reflector antennas and waveguide networks for Starlink satellites and gateways.

You will collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and test teams, perform validations with VNA measurements and RF tests, and help scale prototypes from concept to on-orbit hardware in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required.
• 2+ years of RF/antennas/microwave engineering experience.
• 1+ years using 3D EM tools such as CST, HFSS, FEKO, TICRA GRASP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize parabolic reflector antennas and multi-band (10 - 100+ GHz) feed systems.
• Design waveguide components including OMTs, polarizers, diplexers, filters and transitions.
• Validate designs with vector network analyzer measurements, pattern measurements, and integrated active network testing.
