Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and Outlook.
• Able to lift 50 pounds consistently and operate power tools.
• Valid Driver's License and passport valid for six months after contract end.
• Physically active for 9 hours daily and willing to deploy to Antarctica.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Hazardous and Solid Waste Managers to set priorities for the season.
• Assist with handling, weighing, and storing waste and ensure HWIS documentation is accurate.
• Perform qualitative testing (pH, flash point) as needed.
• Lead spill response and coordinate cleanup and reporting.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and workspace remains compliant.
