Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, Ohio is seeking a Team Lead for the Anodizing department. This production-floor role leads daily operations of Racking, Take-Off and Autoload lines, guiding a technical team to deliver quality output and on-time delivery.

The position reports to the Anodizing Process Manager and Plant Manager, with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday–Friday schedule. Strong leadership, communication and lean manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• One-year prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Good organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day activities and communications of departmental production team.
• Trains and develops departmental team and leads employees in Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Approves vacation requests, time-off and supports daily.
• Supervises work output and effectiveness for team members.
• Ensures accurate training of employees in proper job performance and technique.
• Partners with cross-functional team. Responds to Production Operations and Quality Control to ensure product output meets throughput and quality standards set forth by Operations and Quality management.
• Document the progress of new employees and assist the Anodizing Process Manager in the 90-day evaluations for these employees.
• Observe the progress and performance of all rackers and take-off personnel and assist the Anodizing Process Manager and Plant Manager in the evaluation of these employees.
• Track and post daily departmental metrics as established by Plant Management.
• Ensure inventory of departmental PPE is adequate to perform regular production.
• Assist with any other duties and projects as required.
