Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, OH is seeking a Production Team Lead to guide daily operations on the Racking, Take-Off and Autoload lines. You will lead, train, and mentor a department, ensuring throughput and quality targets are met while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, willingness to work overtime and shifts as needed, plus at least one year of leadership experience in manufacturing or lean environments.

• One-year prior leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting, and experience in a lean manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day activities and communications of departmental production team.
• Trains and develops departmental team and leads employees in Continuous Improvement Programs.
• Approves vacation requests, time-off and supports daily.
• Supervises work output and effectiveness for team members.
• Ensures accurate training of employees in proper job performance and technique.
• Partners with cross-functional team. Responds to Production Operations and Quality Control to ensure product output meets throughput and quality standards set forth by Operations and Quality management.
• Document the progress of new employees and assist the Anodizing Process Manager in the 90-day evaluations for these employees.
• Observe the progress and performance of all rackers and take-off personnel and assist the Anodizing Process Manager and Plant Manager in the evaluation of these employees.
• Track and post daily departmental metrics as established by Plant Management.
• Ensure inventory of departmental PPE is adequate to perform regular production.
• Assist with any other duties and projects as required.

JOB SUMMARY

This production floor position is responsible for leading daily operations of the Racking, Take-Off and Autoload lines. Leads the activities of other employees through technical knowledge, experience and sound decision-making abilities to support product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
