Job summary

Anomatic in New Albany, OH is seeking an experienced Anodizing Line Operator to efficiently run a single anodizing line. You will monitor the conveyor belt system, racks, chemicals and dyes, ensuring product quality and process consistency throughout each shift.

You will start up the machine, adjust speeds, communicate with line operators, obtain bath analyses, and keep the work area clean and safe while following all safety procedures and paperwork requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to differentiate colors.
• Some knowledge of the chemical process helpful.
• Good maintenance and mechanical skills.
• Experience with chemicals and dyes is useful.
• Calipers/micrometers experience is a plus.
• Overtime on short notice may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise each step of the anodizing process for quality.
• Start-up the line and adjust speed based on part tolerance and staffing.
• Communicate operating conditions, dye mixtures, and issues with on-line teammates.
• Monitor tanks, ensure line operation, and coordinate with the process manager.
• Obtain color boards, job cards, and lab bath analyses; adjust as needed.
• Inform racking crew on which parts to run and ensure proper racks.
• Remain on the catwalk to observe the belt, racks, baths, and parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe line and proper storage of equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and perform other duties as assigned.
