Responsibilities

  • Prepare, rack, un-rack, inspect, and package customer parts in accordance with work order requirements and established quality standards.
  • Handle all customer products, fixtures, and tooling with care to prevent damage.
  • Perform visual inspections of parts before and after processing, identifying and reporting any defects.
  • Accurately document racking, un-racking, and production information on work orders and related production records.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations when working with hazardous chemicals, materials, and equipment.
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE and adhere to safety standards.

The Anodizing Technicianis responsible forpreparing aluminum components for the anodizing process, an electrochemical treatment that enhances the durability, corrosion resistance, and appearance of aluminum products. This role plays a critical part inmaintainingefficient production flow by properly racking parts to ensureoptimalprocessing quality. Responsibilities include preparing and loading parts onto racks, supporting anodizing operations, conducting final quality inspections, and packaging finished products to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Attention to detail, process compliance, and commitment to product quality are essential for success in this position.

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift

  • Monday through Friday

  • Full-time schedule,40-hourwork week

Compensation

Pay: $18.00per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, rack, un-rack, inspect, and package customer parts in accordance with work order requirements and established quality standards.

  • Handle all customer products, fixtures, and tooling with care to prevent damage throughout the production process.

  • Perform visual inspections of parts before and after processing, identifying and reporting any defects, discrepancies, or non-conformances to the Supervisor.

  • Accurately document racking, un-racking, and production information on work orders and related production records.

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations when working with hazardous chemicals, materials, and equipment.

  • Wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety standards at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including routine housekeeping and basic equipment care.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and effective communication by promptly reporting concerns, questions, or production issues to the Supervisor.

  • Support departmental operations by performing additional duties and related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.

  • Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring hand and arm strength.

  • Ability to understand, follow, and carry out verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.

  • Ability to accurately complete required production documentation and work-related records.

  • Availability and reliability to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Strong workethics, dependability, and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous manufacturing, production, metal finishing, anodizing, plating, or industrial work experience.

  • Experience working with production work orders, quality inspections, and packaging processes.

  • Familiarity with safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials in an industrial setting.

  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.

  • OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification.

  • Hazard Communication (HazCom) training.

  • First Aid/CPR certification.

  • Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or Continuous Improvement training.

  • Experience using measurement and inspection tools to verify product quality.

  • Experience working in environments that require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to strict safety procedures.

This position works in a manufacturing environment and requires regular physical activity throughout the shift. The employee must be able to:

This position requires frequent speaking, listening, sitting, use of hands and fingers, and handling objects with appropriate breaks. This is an active position that requires standing and walking throughout the workday, as well as bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Employees must be able to perform repetitive lifting of up to 55 pounds on a regular basis. The work environment includes a fast-paced automated manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to various chemicals used in production processes, work around tools and tooling, experience hot and cold temperature conditions, and be exposed to moderate noise levels. Adherence to all applicable safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements is essential.
