Qualifications

Job Title

ANODIZE LEVEL I - SANDBLASTER

Job Summary

Diamondback Industrial Finishes is currently seeking a motivated and talented individual for our Anodize Department in the Sandblasting position. The Anodize Department consists of three areas; Sandblasting is the entry level role and offers opportunities for quick advancement. The candidate will be responsible for completing and managing all aspects of blasting various parts finished by CNC machines, including performing sandblasting operations, cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining final product quality in accordance with established procedures.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• 2+ years' experience operating machinery
• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, an industrial machine shop, or a related work environment

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and comprehend part prints
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on a team or independently, and provide help or assistance to others

Core Duties

• Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply in the hopper
• Prepare surfaces for abrasion and protect specific areas using masking film, tape, and rubber
• Maintain equipment and work areas clean and orderly, reporting unsafe conditions immediately
• Maintain sandblasting equipment, such as cleaning and changing nozzles, hoses, and guns
• Keep track of part counts and complete shift logs daily
• Ensure SOPs are followed and corrected as necessary to maintain and improve machine efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned

Hours

• 1st shift position
• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Friday – overtime as needed

Special Requirements

Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen. Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
