Job summary

Sammons Financial Group is seeking a detail-oriented professional to independently conduct suitability reviews for fixed annuities, ensuring NAIC and regulatory compliance. The role involves handling customer interactions by phone and email, and building knowledge of annuity products while coordinating with various departments.

The candidate will learn applicable state and federal regulations, support marketing/material reviews, and contribute to a values-driven, attendance-conscious workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' new business or fixed annuity processing and phone experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem solving skills.
• Ability to influence others.
• Advanced organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently.
• Proven adaptability to frequent change.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct the Suitability/Best Interest review of fixed annuity applications (excluding securities transactions) and document decisions.
• Provide superior customer service via telephone, email or written communication.
• Communicate with empathy and curiosity to build and maintain partnerships with all agents and distribution partners.
• Build and maintain knowledge of offered annuity products as well as external financial products.
• Learn state and federal regulatory rules related to suitability and ensure compliance.
• Effectively communicate with other departments regarding suitability procedures and decisions.
• Assist in review of marketing materials and new business forms related to Suitability.
• Assist in development of system test plans and user acceptance testing.
• Commit to Sammons Financial Group shared values and attendance policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
