Annuity & PRT Valuation - Actuarial Analyst III

Job Description

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst III to join our Annuity Valuation team. In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting the valuation and financial reporting of deferred annuity products, including Variable Annuities (VA), Fixed Deferred Annuities (FDA), and Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIA).

You will also be eligible to participate in our Actuarial Student Rotation Program, where you can further your actuarial studies and pass exams while building your career.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform statutory valuation and reporting for Variable Annuity products. This includes running, maintaining, and enhancing the Variable Annuity valuation model developed in R.
  • Prepare reinsurance deliverables for ceded FDA and FIA business.
  • Prepare statutory and GAAP reserve rollforwards and financial reporting analysis for all deferred annuity products.
  • Apply fundamental actuarial principles and increase your understanding of annuity valuation concepts.
  • Contribute to regulatory filings, audits, and other financial reporting initiatives.
  • Progress toward SOA credentials through company‑supported study program.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
  • At least two years of actuarial experience. Annuity valuation or modeling experience is a plus.
  • Two or more actuarial exams passed.
