Job summary

Jobtailor in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced annuity processing specialist to review and process new applications, ensuring completeness of forms and regulatory compliance. You will report to the Manager of New Business and liaise between departments to maintain processing accuracy.

Responsibilities include processing applications, applying premiums, issuing contracts, and resolving issues from submission through issuance.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree required; 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, mathematical, oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and related tools.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• LOMA or CLU coursework strongly preferred; 4-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new annuity applications
• Review incoming applications for completeness of internal forms and regulatory compliance
• Report to the Manager of New Business
• Liaise between various departments
• Process applications and corresponding paperwork and document outstanding requirements
• Apply premiums and issue contracts
• Conduct initial reviews and make decisions within prescribed policies and limits
• Resolve open issues from submission through issuance
• Follow through on corrections to resolve problems or complaints
• Work with new broker back offices and Annuity Marketing to meet processing expectations
• Develop relationships with administrative and office support staff and third-party administrators
• Provide customer service by telephone, email, and written communication
• Adhere to department production and quality standards
• Apply knowledge of annuity contracts, government regulations, and department policies when processing applications
• Conduct transactions according to high ethical standards
