Job summary

Park Place Christian Academy in Brandon, MS seeks a Director of Advancement to develop and implement annual giving strategies, cultivate donors, and coordinate communications across channels. This 12-month, full-time role focuses on alumnae, parents, corporate sponsors, foundations, and community partners to sustain the school’s mission.

You will manage the donor database, lead prospecting and stewardship efforts, coordinate grant submissions, and guide volunteers and the development committee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with three years of fund development experience preferred.
• Experience using Raiser's Edge or a similar donor database preferred.
• Proven success in annual fund appeals, donor solicitation, and grant funding.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities.
• Desire to be part of a mission-driven, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the annual fund campaign to meet goals.
• Lead donor database management, recognition, and record balancing with Office Manager.
• Produce reports to track progress against benchmarks and growth strategies.
• Oversee communications across print, digital, and social media for annual giving.
• Provide leadership for prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship of constituents.
• Develop and manage donor meetings and corporate/community partnerships.
• Research grant opportunities and prepare proposals for funding.
• Guide fund development volunteers and plan signature fundraising events.
