Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking an Annual Fund Officer to advance its mission by leading the Foundation's annual giving program, donor cultivation, and employee giving initiatives. You will manage a portfolio of 75–125 donors, develop strategies, track KPIs, and collaborate with hospital leadership to expand philanthropic support across the Pardee Foundation service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience with emphasis on annual giving.
• Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual giving program through strategic campaigns, stewardship, donor cultivation, and annual fundraising strategies.
• Manage the Moving Mountains donor society focusing on acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Coordinate annual donor education and engagement events for Moving Mountains and prospective donors.
• Manage a portfolio of 75–125 current and prospective donors through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Track annual giving KPIs including donor acquisition, retention, participation, and revenue growth.
• Support the Grateful Patient Program in collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams.

Summary:

The Annual Fund Officer advances the mission of Pardee Hospital Foundation by leading and growing the Foundation's annual giving program through donor cultivation, stewardship, employee giving initiatives, and strategic fundraising campaigns. This position manages a portfolio of donors and prospects, develops annual giving strategies, and works collaboratively to increase philanthropic support across the Foundation's service area.

Responsibilities:

Annual Giving & Donor Engagement

• Lead and grow the Foundation's annual giving program through strategic direct mail campaigns, stewardship initiatives, donor cultivation, and annual fundraising strategies.
• Manage the Foundation's annual giving society, Moving Mountains, focusing on donor acquisition, retention, recognition, and engagement.
• Coordinate and execute two annual donor education and engagement events for Moving Mountains members and prospective donors.
• Manage a portfolio of 75–125 current and prospective donors through regular cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Track annual giving KPIs, including donor acquisition, retention, participation, and revenue growth.
• Support the Foundation's Grateful Patient Program in collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams.

Employee Giving

• Lead and grow the Pardee Teammate Giving Program, Stronger Together.
• Develop strategies to increase employee participation and charitable giving.
• Build relationships with hospital teammates to strengthen the culture of philanthropy.
• Partner with the Event & Volunteer Coordinator on employee engagement activities.

Fundraising & Sponsorship

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward annual fund donors.
• Secure sponsorships for Foundation programs and events through relationship development.
• Collaborate with Foundation leadership on annual fundraising strategies.

Collaboration & Administration

• Maintain accurate donor records within the Foundation database.
• Prepare fundraising reports and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Foundation staff on donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives.
• Represent the Foundation professionally within the community.

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience with emphasis on annual giving.
