Job summary

IndyHumane is seeking an Annual Fund Manager to lead the annual giving strategy, grow operating revenue, and expand the donor pipeline. You will oversee donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention across direct mail, digital fundraising, monthly giving, and workplace giving programs.

This role reports to the Chief Development Officer and partners with Marketing and Development teams to align campaigns with IndyHumane’s mission, funding priorities, and program goals, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Three to five years of fundraising, development, donor relations, annual giving, or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the fundraising process and donor-centered fundraising practices.
• Experience using CRM or fundraising database software required.
• Experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, or fundraising campaign execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of IndyHumane’s annual fund program.
• Develop annual giving strategies to increase revenue, participation, retention, and long-term value.
• Develop and execute campaigns across direct mail, digital, and integrated channels.
• Own and actively manage a portfolio of annual fund donors and build relationships.
• Coordinate with the Chief Development Officer and development staff on donor pathways.
• Monitor fundraising performance data to identify opportunities and adjust tactics.
• Oversee donor onboarding, engagement, and stewardship across channels.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and external vendors as needed.
