Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking a Heart and Vascular Assistant Nurse Manager. This role leads the Cardiology team, supports the Nurse Manager in daily supervision, and ensures high-quality patient outcomes through effective resource use.

Requires a Florida RN license, an Associate's degree in Nursing, BLS/ACLS, and at least 3 years in Cath Lab/IR/EP or CVOR. Leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 3 years Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology/EP/CVOR or acute care experience required.
• 1 year leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
• Hire, counsel, mentor and terminate staff as needed.

BayCare is looking for its newest Heart and Vascular, Assistant Nurse Manager in Tampa, FL. The Heart and Vascular Assistant Nurse Manager is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues. Oversees day-day-day operations within Cardiology. Responsible for appropriate utilization of team members and product resources to efficiently and effectively provide medical and quality patient outcomes. Assists in planning, organizing and controlling aspects of the daily operations. Provides team member hiring, counseling, mentoring and terminating. Conducts team member performance evaluations. Acts as an advocate and leader for continuous quality improvement activities and customer service. Perform other duties as required.
