Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Technical school is preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics is preferred.
• Ten years of experience working on theme park animation as a show control or mechanical technician in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist multiple venues with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of animation and show control systems.
• Change time-limited parts, calibrate equipment per OEM specifications, and clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment.
• Troubleshoot down to component level using test equipment, schematics, and documentation.
• Provide input into CMMS and log inspections, actions, and repairs.
• Perform modifications per UO specifications and train new technicians.
• Inspect and service costumes or skins for animation and work with Creative Fabrication for feedback.
