About the role

As an Animator, you'll participate in the creative and technical aspects of 2D animation production. You will work with a small, talented team, and collaborate with both in-house and outsourced teams to deliver exceptional animations that elevate our gaming experience to new heights!

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations using tools such as Spine, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Design and implement animations in line with project specifications and requirements.
• Follow the artistic direction set by the Animation Team Lead to ensure consistency, style alignment, and quality.
• Collaborate closely with artists, project managers, technical artists, and developers throughout production milestones.
• Effectively manage your time to meet deadlines and deliver polished work.
• Optimise animations for performance and propose solutions that balance visual impact with technical efficiency.
• Apply creativity and technical expertise to continuously enhance animation quality.
• Explore and integrate generative tools to streamline and improve the animation production process

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a game animator, ideally within the gaming or iGaming sector.
• Proficiency in English to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong knowledge of Spine, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Proven experience in high-quality character animation and pseudo-3D object animation.
• Solid skills in creating VFX while working within optimisation constraints.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your animation skills, creativity, and versatility.
• A genuine passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the player experience.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback in a team setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills to tackle both technical and artistic challenges.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage
• Strong drawing skills
• Knowledge and experience in animation using any 3D tool
• Experience with auxiliary tools for creating visual effects (VFX)
• Experience creating art and animation using AI-based tools
