Job summary

Brazen Animation is seeking a Sr. Production Finance Manager in Richardson, TX to oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for animated productions.

Reporting to the EVP, you will guide cash flow, staffing cost assumptions, and strategic financial planning for on-time delivery within budget. The role requires strong accounting expertise, production finance experience in entertainment, and the ability to partner with production management and leadership to drive fiscal discipline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred or in progress.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience in media/entertainment or production accounting/operational finance.
• Experience with accounting systems and production finance software (e.g., QuickBooks) preferred.
• Expert in Google Suite systems and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production leadership to create and manage production schedules and budgets, delivering on time and on budget.
• Perform cost reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting for productions.
• Maintain proper accounting controls and reconciliation across projects in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to establish best practices and scale the team.
• Provide monthly/quarterly cost reporting and insights for leadership.
• Support payroll quality control and ensure accurate payroll processing for cast and crew.
• Assist production and finance management with data-driven decisions and risk assessment.
