Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls for service regarding domestic and wildlife animals.
• Patrol the city, enforcing ordinances, and issuing warnings or citations.
• Safely capture and transport animals, including sick, injured, or potentially dangerous ones.
• Document actions in reports and enter information into Chameleon system.
• Maintain live release percentage goals for CCACS.
• Transport animals to rescue partners and relocate wildlife.
• Provide high level customer service to the public in the field and at CCACS campus.
• Educate citizens about city ordinances and available services.
• Investigate animal cruelty, neglect, and bite incidents; assist ACS Investigator as needed.
• Testify to evidence in meetings with court prosecutors and law enforcement.
