The Washington National Primate Center has an outstanding opportunity for an Animal Technician 1 to join their team based in Arizona.
The primary purpose of this position is to support biomedical research focused on human health issues and nonhuman primate health and biology. Our mission values link this position to our purpose as a Center:
This position reports directly to the Animal Technician Supervisor at the Arizona Breeding Colony (ABC) of WaNPRC.
Physical ability to perform required work and ability to read and write English.
Employment is contingent upon successful health assessment, including tuberculosis and immunizations, and may require working with infectious agents and wearing protective gear. Punctuality and regular attendance are essential.
