Qualifications

  • Must possess Florida Animal Control Officer Certification for at least 5 years.
  • Must complete euthanasia, chemical capture, and cruelty investigations certifications within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Animal Services Road Operations and enforce local ordinances and state statutes.
  • Plan, organize, and implement road operations to meet ASO goals.
  • Supervise daily road operations, scheduling, and vehicle/equipment maintenance.
  • Train and evaluate Officers; oversee onboarding and policy adherence.
  • Manage budget, revenues, expenditures, and inventory controls.
  • Conduct or coordinate investigations into animal cruelty and dangerous dog cases.
