Animal Science Technician

We are seeking a dependable Animal Science Technician to support the care of laboratory rodents.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm, including occasional weekend work

Pay Rate:

$45-50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine rodent procedures, especially accurate and humane substance dosing.

• Handle and restrain rodents safely.

• Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or distress.

• Document procedures and observations accurately.

• Follow approved protocols, SOPs, and animal-welfare requirements.

• Promptly report health concerns, protocol deviations, or unexpected events.

• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work areas.

• Assist with other rodent-care activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification preferred .
