Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2+ years related experience, or an equivalent.
• Associate degree with 6+ years related experience.
• Valid California Community College Credential.
• Equivalent education/experience (equivalency process).

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Animal Science courses as assigned.
• Use a variety of pedagogies and delivery systems including online/hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines of record.
• Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments and exams.
• Provide course syllabi to students.
• Maintain classroom records per District Policy.
• Submit all required grading and evaluation reports on time.
• Fulfill duties as assigned by Administrative Regulation 7122.
