Job summary

Job description

Under immediate supervision, maintains animals and animal quarters; and does related work as required.Feeds, cares for, and handles animals for the Animal Shelter, cleans cages and other quarters for animals.
Cleans rooms, equipment, and utensils.
Marks animals for identification.
Assists personnel in making tests and performs routine clerical record keeping duties in connection with these duties.
Performs other related duties as required.Must be a resident of the City of Boston.

Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience with the handling of animals.
General knowledge of office procedures, filing, and record keeping.
