Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Animal Research Technician in Wilmington, MA to support nonclinical studies in a regulated lab environment. The role involves handling animals, administering test articles, observing health signs, and ensuring accurate data records.

No research experience or degree is necessary beyond hands-on animal care experience; 1–2 years in a lab setting is preferred and ALAT certification is a plus. The schedule is M–Th early shifts with Friday half-day.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of related laboratory experience
• ALAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer test articles/substances, observe health signs, record study data, and prepare/autoclave cages and animal tags.
• Prepare data forms, assist with test agent formulation, maintain dosage equipment, and manage inventory for supplies.

Education

Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) in Biological Sciences or related

1–2 years of related technical laboratory experience
