Labcorp in Madison, WI is seeking a Research Study Technician to support early development animal studies. You will handle and restrain animals, perform dosing, collect samples and maintain data in compliance with GLP and SOPs.

The role requires a Life Science degree or related qualification, and experience in a regulated lab environment is preferred. Relocation assistance and full benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline or an Associate degree with relevant experience in clinical support or laboratory animal care.
• Prior experience in a regulated laboratory or research environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research study activities focusing on drug effectiveness, safety and toxicity in early development animal studies.
• Handle and restrain animals and provide husbandry when needed.
• Perform dosing techniques and administer test items to animals.
• Collect biological samples and perform clinical observations.
• Maintain data per GLP and SOPs and organize study-related activities.
• Uphold AAALAC standards for animal care and welfare.
