Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Sales Representative/Senior/Lead in Maryland to drive territory sales, expand market share, and profitability. You will meet sales objectives, manage a territory, and utilize CRM tools to plan calls and track activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• 2–5 years of relevant field sales experience in a competitive selling environment, or 2+ years as a degreed, licensed and practicing Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
• Animal health or related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
• Must reside in territory geography or be willing to relocate.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meets sales objectives and supports attainment of district and regional/business unit objectives.
• Develops market, customer, and industry knowledge and expands technical product knowledge.
• Maintains expert product knowledge and selling skills to influence customers and support product use.
• Uses CRM tools to plan activity, monitor samples, and maintain records.
• Analyzes territory information to optimize calls and create annual business plans.
