Animal Control/Codes Enforcement Officer

The City of Bennettsville has an opening for an Animal Control/Codes Enforcement Officer. Applicant will perform service work in the enforcement of ordinances regulating the keeping of animals within the municipality. Applicant will ensure public safety, animal welfare, and promoting responsible pet ownership. The applicant is tasked with handling various aspects of animal control, including responding to calls related to stray animals, investigating animal-related complaints, and educating the community about responsible pet ownership practices.

The starting salary range for this position is $34,715.20/yr. – $41,662.40/yr.
