Job summary

Sight & Sound in Ronks, PA is seeking an Animal Caretaker to support the care of all show animals and their facilities. This role works up to 28 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, and requires being on your feet regularly, outdoors, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Training duties may be required from time to time. You will model our mission, values, and safety statements; assist with feeding and daily care; follow regulatory requirements; and support the department's strategic plan.

The Animal Caretaker participates in the care of all Sight & Sound show animals and their facilities.

The physical demands of this position are active in nature. You will be expected to be on your feet frequently, walk and stand regularly, consistently communicate with team members using a headset/radio, work outdoors. You will be expected to frequently lift/exert up to 50 lbs. of force, often handling large animals to move on command. The full physical requirements of this job are available upon request.
