City of Midland, Texas is seeking an Animal Shelter Technician to care for the pets and wildlife brought to the shelter. You will assist with daily animal care, sanitation, microchip screening, and supporting cremation services to ensure the health and dignity of animals in our care.

Ability to sit, stand and drive a vehicle to and from various work sites. Employee may be exposed to seasonal temperatures while maintaining kennel and grounds, traffic hazards, chemicals, mild acids, detergents and noise. Employee also may be exposed to animal bites and animal transmitted diseases. Ability to lift bags of materials such as dog food or animals regularly.
