Job summary

Lancesoft seeks an Animal Care Technician/R&D Technician to support animal studies in Elk River, MN. You will execute approved protocols, collect data such as weights and feed information, and perform standard husbandry and housekeeping duties in a safe, timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Basic working knowledge of animal care and husbandry.

Responsibilities

• Execute approved protocols for animal studies in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the animal environment and ensure resources are available for proper treatment.
• Identify and communicate health issues for research and monitor animal condition.
• Collect data on weights, feed information and sample data as required.
• Follow medical care and treatment plans for animals and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
