Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Animal Husbandry Technician II to support the USAISR at JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The role focuses on daily care of small and large laboratory animals, cage and enclosure maintenance, and preparation of supplies and equipment to ensure animal welfare and compliance with ABSL II SOPs.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of laboratory experience, prefer a Bachelor's degree, and hold ALAT or LAT certifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• ALAT and LAT certifications preferred.
• 2-4 years of laboratory experience desired.

Responsabilidades

• Perform animal husbandry duties for small and large animals.
• Prepare and change animal cages, feeding, and watering.
• Follow ABSL II SOPs and room-order procedures.
• Operate cage wash equipment and maintain logs.
• Inventory enrichment items and track supplies.
• Document procedures and enrichment distribution.
