Thrive Pet Healthcare invites applications for a full-time Animal Care Attendant to join our Rehabilitation team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will support pets’ rehabilitation and recovery, assisting aquatic therapy and laser sessions, while ensuring comfort and safe treatment spaces for pets and their families.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of animal handling experience, veterinary setting exposure, and a strong, positive work ethic with solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional animal handling experience.
• Experience in a veterinary setting strongly preferred.
• Fear Free experience preferred.
• Positive work attitude and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with aquatic therapy and therapeutic laser sessions.
• Provide patient comfort and monitor recovery progress.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and equipment.
• Help create a positive experience for pets and their families.
• Support rehabilitation and recovery journey for patients.
