Job summary

PTR Global in Charlotte, NC seeks a contract front-end developer with strong Angular skills to design, build and maintain web applications. You will create reusable components, integrate with REST APIs, and ensure performance and accessibility.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers and QA, participate in Agile ceremonies, write unit tests with Jasmine/Karma or Cypress, and support CI/CD deployments on a 6-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of front-end development with Angular.
• Strong hands-on Angular development experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with front-end testing (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular.
• Develop reusable components, modules, services, and front-end libraries.
• Integrate Angular applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with RxJS, Observables, Angular Services, Routing, Forms, and DI.
• Implement state management using NgRx or similar frameworks when required.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and resolve defects.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Develop and execute unit tests with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding and security standards.
