Job summary

Church of the Resurrection in Flower Mound, TX seeks a part-time Music Minister to lead worship, coordinate the music ministry, and plan services using Planning Center. You will schedule teams in advance and participate in weekly planning meetings with staff.

The ideal candidate is a baptized Anglican with strong vocal/instrumental gifts (piano or guitar), capable of directing hymns and liturgical settings, and committed to joyful, faithful worship with pastoral leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be baptized Christian in Anglican faith.
• Gifted vocalist and instrumentalist (piano or guitar).
• Skilled music director for hymns and liturgical settings.
• Provides spiritual and administrative leadership of the music ministry.
• Willingness to learn Planning Center and use it effectively.
• Available for Sunday presence and delegation during Holy Week.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Planning Center to schedule music for worship services at least one month in advance.
• Present for most Sundays (approx. 57 services per year) and delegate at least 2 Holy Week services.
• Attends weekly staff, seasonal planning meetings and staff retreats.
